GRANTS

Grant intelligence for Australian business

The grants your business qualifies for.
And the honest word on the ones it doesn't.

Helm Grants watches federal and state grant programs around the clock and matches every round against what your business actually does, with itemised scores you can check line by line. Built for SMEs; community organisations welcome aboard.

Free tier, no card, cancel any time. We never charge just to tell you what exists, and your data stays in Australia.

Why Helm Grants

Finding grants is free. Finding the right ones is the job.

GrantConnect and the state finders already list everything. What they cannot tell you is which rounds fit your business and which will waste your fortnight. That judgement layer is Helm.

Honest about eligibility

Match scores are itemised so you can check our reasoning, and when a round is not for you, we say so. The cheapest hours in grants are the ones you don't spend on a round that was never a fit.

Matched to what you do

Tell Helm what your business does once. Every new round is scored against your real capability profile, not a keyword search you have to babysit.

Deadlines that never sneak past

Daily digest, closing-date alerts and reminders at 7, 3 and 1 days. The round you found is worthless if you hear about the deadline after it.

How it works

Ten minutes to your first matched rounds.

01
Tell us what you do

Two fields and four onboarding questions. Helm reads your capability statement and translates it into the words grant programs use.

02
We match every round

Every live federal and state round is scored against your profile, with the reasoning itemised. New arrivals land in your daily digest.

03
Apply with your ducks in a row

Application workspaces keep guidelines, documents, notes and deadlines in one place, with AI help on the reading on paid tiers.

A grant writer charges $700 to $2,000 per application.

Grant Pro is $199 a month for every round you chase: the finding, the eligibility reading and AI-drafted sections, with your own judgement on top. Bring a professional writer for the big one; let Helm carry the rest of the pipeline.

Pricing

Priced for the applicant, not the funder.

Australian dollars, ex GST, with the GST-inclusive total on every card. No lock-in, cancel any time. Every AI allowance is a real number, not an asterisk.

Frequently asked questions

Grant questions, answered straight.

Federal grant rounds from GrantConnect and Queensland programs from the Queensland Grants Finder, refreshed daily and matched against your organisation's profile. Every record links back to the official listing, and applications are always lodged through the funder's own channel under your own registration; Helm prepares you for that moment, it never submits for you.

Helm is an independent platform; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any government funder or portal.

Yes, you can, and honestly, a general AI chatbot will give you a decent-sounding draft. The writing engines are excellent, and Helm uses the same class of AI under the hood. The difference is everything wrapped around the writing.

A chatbot only sees what you paste: it cannot tell you a round has opened, that its closing date moved, or that a Queensland program fits your organisation. Helm watches GrantConnect and the Queensland Grants Finder for you. A chatbot will also cheerfully help you write an application for a round you were never eligible to enter; Helm builds the eligibility check from the round's own guidelines before you invest a single writing hour, and the sector's classic wasted fortnight is the ineligible application.

And where a chatbot answers fluently whether or not the answer is in the guidelines, Helm drafts only from your recorded evidence, marks anything unverified with a loud [CONFIRM] marker, and runs hallucination audits as a release gate. Your project history stays reusable across every application, your documents stay in Australian tenant-isolated storage, and every draft is yours to review and own. The chatbot is a pen. Helm is the whole grants desk.

No, and this is a design rule, not a hope. Helm drafts only from the facts recorded in your organisation's profile and the round's own uploaded guidelines. Anything the AI cannot verify from those sources becomes a highlighted [CONFIRM] marker in the draft and the exported document - deliberately loud, so an unverified claim cannot slip into an application unnoticed.

The same honesty applies to eligibility: Helm never asserts you are eligible for a round. It shows you the guidelines' own who-may-apply rules, with their wording, and you confirm each one yourself. And every draft remains exactly that, a draft: you review and own what you submit, and whether a round funds you is the assessors' decision, not an algorithm's.

Your data is stored in Australia, in private, tenant-isolated storage, and is used only to serve you. Uploaded guideline documents follow a 90-day retention rule after the round closes; your own records, drafts and application history stay yours.

Team seats see your organisation's shared workspace; nobody outside your organisation sees any of it.

Set course. Fund the work.
